Steven Seagal for "The Yakuza" and "The Rescue"

Steven Seagal is about to slip into Robert Mitchum’s shoes for a remake of "The Yakuza", reports Variety. The original film, directed by Sydney Pollack, was about a kidnapping. In addition, Seagal has signed for "The Rescue", as a Vietnam vet who journeys to Europe to locate a vanished pen-pal, a child the vet had been aiding financially. For his sake, hopefully one of these will get to theatres.
