The LA Times is reporting that computer experts will digitally create a young Tom Hanks for the upcoming "The Polar Express". According to the paper, the crew have spent nearly a year experimenting on ways to map Hanks’ facial and muscle structure. They plan to mix that data with photographs of Hanks in his youth and create a virtual child that will resemble the adult Hanks. Rober Zemeckis directs.
