Animated Movies reports Jim Hill Media is claiming that although Disney’s "Treasure Planet" was such an enormous failure and the company was forced to take a $74 million pre-tax write-down, the staff at Walt Disney Television Animation is still hard at work on follow-ups to this alleged flop. Jim Hill Media says "Treasure Planet 2" will go direct-to-video and well as "Treasure Planet: The Animated Series" is in development.
