Action maestro John Woo ("Windtalkers") is in talks to direct "Paycheck", an SF movie based on a story by legendary author Philip K. Dick, for Paramount Pictures, Variety reported. The futuristic tale concerns a man who can’t remember what he has done for the past two years and uses clues such as a ticket stub and bus token to uncover a government secret, the trade paper reported. Brett Ratner was originally attached to this film before he decided on "Superman".
