"The Godfather 4" to film in Australia?

Australian Newspaper The Herald Sunhas an update on "The Godfather 4". According to the paper, a Hollywood Studio is in negotiations with heads of Melbourne and Queensland about filming the movie there. According to the article, the movie is scheduled to be filming here late next year. "An Australian industry insider said a big Hollywood studio had talks about shooting some of the film in Melbourne and Queensland. Shooting is expected to begin late next year", says the article. "Publisher Random House yesterday confirmed it had signed a deal with the estate of Godfather author Mario Puzo, who died in 1999". Expect plenty of local casting to occur, should Australia agree to take on the production. And why wouldn’t they! (as long as Sofia Coppola’s not coming for the ride).
