Eddie Griffin headlining a "Die Hard" like actioner? Ok I’ll believe that when I see it. But today Variety is reporting that the "Undercover Brother" will play the lead in the Motion Picture Corp. of America and IWP/Gemini Films actioner "Blast!". Written by Die Hard scribe Steven E. De Souza and directed by Anthony Hickox (Hellraiser III), the film is described as Die Hard on an oil rig. Principal photography will commence in December in South Africa, with casting ongoing. Brad Krevoy, Klaus Rettig and David Lancaster are producing the pic on a $20 million budget.
