"War of the Worlds" will invade sooner according to a press release just in from Pendragon Pictures. The studio has announced it will be doing the film now in Summer 2004, rather than Summer 2005. Director Timothy Hines says the special effects for the film will be ready sooner than expected, hence the shoot date change. On casting he simply teases that "A few pleasant surprises are coming down the pike with the cast".
