Another Aussie may join Peterson's "Troy"

Wolfgang Peterson’s "Troy" looks set to be a grand moment for the Aussies, with another local actress, Rose Byrne ("Star Wars Episode II : Attack of the Clones"), in talks to join the film as Briseis, a Trojan slave girl who is the cousin of Hector and Paris. Briseis is given to Achilles, who then develops a fondness for her. When she is captured by the enemy, his rage is unleashed. The Hollywood Reporter says the film’s set to begin shooting in the spring in the United Kingdom, Malta and Morocco with an eye toward a release next year.
