"Rules" helmer polishes up Fincher's next

"Rules of Attraction" writer/director Roger Avary has been hired to rewrite the script for David Fincher’s "Lords of the Dog Town". According to the Filmjerk website, the film centers on a group of brilliant young skateboarders raised in the mean streets of Dogtown in Venice California – circa the 1970’s – called The Zephyrs. The Z-Boys, as they come to be known, perfect their craft in the empty swimming pools of unsuspecting suburban homeowners, pioneering a thrilling new sport and eventually moving into legend.
