The Superman: Last Son of Krypton website is reporting that Michael Bay is no longer a contender to be replacement director. Their source says, "). He couldn’t agree terms to do it, Bay wanted a high percentage of the Box Office gross on top of his fee – plus he was unwilling to leave Bad Boys 2 early to go and do Superman straight away. This also means that Josh Hartnett and Joel Silver won’t be on the movie either." The source does confirm though that Brett Ratner is off the film – and has been for three weeks.
