Bill Paxton is in talks to take the lead role in the new live-action version of "Thunderbirds". Directed by Jonathan Frakes, the project is about a 12-year-old boy who must save his father (Paxton) and four brothers from imminent death and save the world from the hands of the evil Aristotle Spode. He has a little help from Lady Penelope (Sophia Myles). Paxton’s character is a billionaire former astronaut who is the patriarch of the family and leads the Thunderbirds during their missions to save the world. The Hollywood Reporter says Shooting begins in March on location in the Seychelles with studio work at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom.
