FilmForce says Wes Studi has joined the cast of "The Alamo", playing Cherokee "Chief Bowl," the good friend of Texan rebel "Sam Houston" (Dennis Quaid). According to the site, the film re-unites Studi with his "Geronmi : An American Legend" co-star Jason Patric. The Alamo Journal also reports that Marc Blucas ("Buffy") has joined the cast as James Butler Bonham, and Texan musician/actor Stephen Bruton has won the role of Alamo defender Almeron Dickinson.
