According to a scooper for Aint it Cool, Sean Astin is very interested in directing "The Goonies" sequel should original Director Richard Donner pass. Astin also has a story worked out in his head too – but when he told Steven Spielberg at last year’s Golden Globes about it, Spielberg said they already had a story.
