Travolta likes "Guys and Dolls"

According to a report in TV Guide John Travolta is interested in starring in the recently greenlit "Guys and Dolls" remake. Travolta, who apparently rejected the Richard Gere role in "Chicago", is hanging to get in a musical – and thinks "Guys and Dolls" or even "A remake of An American in Paris is what I’d like to do, but people feel like it’s too much of a classic. Maybe take Pal Joey and turn it into a Scorcese-type musical".
