Two stars desperately in need of a hit, Christian Slater and Neve Campbell, are teaming for "Churchill : The Hollywood Years", a comedy about a group of U.S. movie moguls who arrive in the United Kingdom to shoot a film about the great English wartime prime minister. On arrival for the first day of the shoot, however, the filmmakers discover the actor playing Churchill to be a robust, unattractive cigar-smoker and opt to replace him with a better-looking, more virile actor (Slater). Campbell will play an actress who is portraying a young Queen Elizabeth II says The Hollywood Reporter. In related news, we hear that Christian Slater is close to pulling out of the action film "Old Soldiers", because of script problems.
