Nice to see Sam "Evil Dead" Raimi returning to his horror roots. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stephen (Ghosting) Susco is in final negotiations to adapt "The Grudge" for producers Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert’s Ghost House Pictures, a Hollywood remake of the Japanese horror film, "Ju-On", written and directed by Takashi Shimizu. The film, about a "supernatural curse" that takes hold of people with grudges against their fellow man and drives them to their death, will be produced by Raimi and Tapert alongside original producer Taka Ichise. In an odd twist, Shimizu will be helming the remake as well.
