Ratner announces his "Superman" wishlist

They’ve yet to cast anyone, but that’s not stopping Director Brett Ratner from announcing his "Superman" wishlist to MTV. He says he wants Christopher Walken to play Perry white, the Daily Planet newspaper editor where Clark Kent works. "He said he’d be interested." According to the article, Ratner said he wants Anthony Hopkins to play the villainous role of Lex Luthor and Ralph Fiennes to play Superman’s father, Jor-El. "There are a lot of great actors that I’ve approached," he said optimistically. "But unless I get the Man of Steel, it’s gonna be hard." And according to the grapevine, Matthew Bomer might still be in the running for Superman, despite conflicting reports.
