A "ChubbChubbs" movie looks possible

Zap2it talked to Eric Armstrong, director of the Oscar Winning Animated Short "ChubbChubbs", who revealed a feature length version of the toon is in the works. "It was sort of a little test, just to see what was working, what wasn’t, and if we were prepared to do a feature basically," Armstrong tells, "And, of course, I"m kind of glad we did it now."

Holding his Oscar up backstage, he adds, "Whether or not there is a feature, I think the success has created some interest in that possiblity."

"The ChubbChubbs!" is a spoof on outer space creatures that follows the character of Meeper, an earnest, but awkward alien, who tries to warn the inhabitants of the planet Glorf of impending doom.
