Animation Tests for "Clerks" movie underway

Seems he mightn’t have sold out as much as he was thought. Kevin Smith is bringing the animated "Clerks" to the big screen. According to MoviePoopShoot.com, the first animation test for the movie was sent out last week. Kevin revealed that the tests were being done to see if the entire movie could be done in Flash Animation, which would save a great deal of time and money. While the footage will likely never be seen, Kevin said that for the test, he had to choose between Jay and Silent Bob in the Death Star trench shooting down a tie fighter piloted by Ben Affleck, and a scene where Jay gets busy with "a thousand women." The flick was originally going to be called "Clerks : Sell Out", but will now simply go by the name "Clerks : The Animated Movie".
