You’d think someone would have thought of it earlier, but alas looks like "G.I Joe" is finally coming to the big screen.
Cinescape reports that for years, the film rights for a G.I. Joe movie have been owned by Lawrence Kasanoff and Warner Bros., but the project never came close to production. With the ressurgence of the 80s and 80s pop culture, however, the site reports that Dreamworks is now interested in purchasing the film rights. What this means, is a possible big-budget movie within the next couple of years. Bruce Willis’s eyes just lit up.
