"Batman" prequel used for wrapping paper?

The current status of "Batman : Year One"? does anyone still care? I mean could it really be any further along than some dusty pile of scripts sitting atop the janitors cupboard at Warners? According to Darren Aronofsky [who will supposedly make it before the end of the century] that’s exactly where it is. According to a report on Aint it Cool, Aronofsky was at UC Berkeley as part of the ASUC Superb Directors Series and gave the film a brief mention saying "Warner Bros. owns the screenplay and he understands that they are very protective of the Batman franchise and is unsure about what will become of it. He did say that is is definitely not his next film". So what are Warner doing with all these Bat-screenplays? Tissue Paper in the ladies room perhaps?
