  • Damn I’m excited. This looks grand. What Am I talking about? The trailer for “Freddy vs. Jason”, of course, and its up here. Thanks to ‘Scott’

  • FilmJerk reports that Tobe Hooper has decided his next film will be a remake of the horrid 1978 camp horror film “The Toolbox Murders”. Very unexciting Tobe, very unexciting.

  • Renee Zellweger talked to Cinema Confidential about “Bridget Jones’s Diary 2”. And fan’s, it doesn’t look good.

  • Bloody Disgusting has the first shot of Ron Perlman as “Hellboy” up.

  • We’ve got a bit of a treat coming up for those looking forward to "The Crow : Wicked Prayer”. Meantime, there’s a positive review of the script up here

  • it’s great to hear “Angel” is back on the WB Schedule. And with James “Spike” Marsters too. But regrettably, it’s at the cost of losing Charisma “Cordy” Carpenter, who will no longer be a regular cast member.

  • Thanks to Aint it Cool we have been pointed in the direction of the “Spy Kids 3D : Game Over” trailer, now in Quick Time format.

  • The Official Site for “Capturing the Friedmans”, directorial debut of Andrew Jarecki, has opened. Thanks to ‘Alex’

  • "Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding", an off-broadway play that’s been running for 15 years, is being made into a movie reports FilmJerk. So far, only Guillermo Diaz of "Nowhere" and "Party Girl" has been cast, as Raphael the videographer. The four week production will begin in New York on June 16. No distributor is currently attached to this project. Thanks to ‘Edward’

  • The Z Review has some exclusive shots from the new Eddie Griffin/Vinnie Jones actioner “Blast!” up which you can find here. Thanks to ‘Gary’

  • Superhero Hype reports that Kelly Hu has signed on to reprise her role as Deathstrike in an “X-Men 3”.

  • Newcomer Alexa Davalos has joined the cast of "Chronicles of Riddick", opposite Vin Diesel, says The Hollywood Reporter.

  • The Hollywood Reporter says Crusader Entertainment has acquired the rights to Ayn Rand’s 1957 novel "Atlas Shrugged" and has hired writer James V. Hart to adapt. "Atlas" follows one woman’s quest to solve the enigmatic question of "Who is John Galt?" — The man who said he would stop the motor of the world and did. The story is set in a near-future United States whose economy is collapsing because of the inexplicable disappearance of the country’s leading innovators and industrialists and the growth of arbitrary power on the part of its politicians
