  • Minnie Driver has been set to co-star in “The Phantom of the Opera”, she will play Carlotta, the reigning opera house diva, who becomes infuriated when a young rival (Emmy Rossum) upstages her.

  • The Z Review reports that Jane Fonda is set to star opposite Jennifer Lopez in the film “Monster in Law”.

  • Upcoming Movies reports that “Blade 3” might be released under the title “Blade : Trinity”.

  • “Beverly Hills 90210: 10-Year High School Reunion” is scheduled to air on Channel 10 on July 8 at 8.30pm.

  • TV Guide Online has learned that both Penny Johnson Jerald and Sarah Wynter will not be season regulars on “24” next season. A spokesperson told the site, “"it would be a mistake to infer from an actor’s contract status what their participation in the show next year will be. For example, Xander Berkeley (George Mason) was hired as a series regular last year but his character was killed off in episode 15."

  • Columbia Pictures is remaking its 1957 Western "3:10 to Yuma," with James Mangold directing. The original film told the story of a small-time rancher who, in need of money, agrees to hold a captured outlaw leader awaiting a train to go to court in Yuma. A battle of wills ensues as the outlaw tries to psych the rancher out.
