The girls will be in heaven this weekend with news that “Bridget Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason”, the sequel to the Renee Zellweger starring “Bridget Jones Diary” is one step closer to becoming a reality. According to Variety, the project now has a director, Beeban Kidron [“To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmarr”] who star Zellweger gave the thumbs up to herself. Colin Firth and Hugh Grant will also return for the sequel, in which Bridget discovers that life with Mark Darcy isn’t quite as perfect as she dreamed. Shooting is expected to start in November.
