  • Miramax have posted trailers for “Dirty Pretty Things” and “The Magdalene Sisters” here and here, respectively.

  • Command Entertainment says New Line’s "Blade III" starring Wesley Snipes and Kris Kristofferson is being scheduled for an early fall shoot at Vancouver Film Studios. Premise for this installment of Marvel Comics’ vampire/human super-hero involves a cataclysmic event that threatens to shift control of the planet from humans to vampires. ‘Blade’ screenwriter David Goyer directs. And director David Zucker looks to start his "Scary Movie 4" this August.

  • Dimension’s “The Crow: Wicked Prayer” has wrapped production. According to an insider, “Eddie looks great in the make up”. Fingers crossed for a cinema release.

  • Dark Horizons has posted the trailer for the upcoming Tony Martin directed “Bad Eggs”, starring Mick Molloy and Bob Franklin here.

  • Following her stint in “Charlies Angels: Full Throttle”, Demi Moore is getting a swag of movie offers again, her agent tells IMDB. "She’s considering at least five movie offers, including three thrillers, a family drama and drama with comedic overtones. Ideally, she’d love to do a romantic comedy, but only if the movie is good."

  • Coming Soon has posted the posters for Russell Crowe’s “Master and Commander” and the International poster for “Tomb Raider 2” here and here, respectively.

  • R&B Singer, Barry White – best known for hits like Can’t Get Enough of Your Love Babe, You’re the First, the Last, My Everything and It’s Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next To Me – has died age 58. He had suffered kidney failure from years of high blood pressure.

  • According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ben Foster will be playing the role of Dave, the title character’s deadbeat but loyal and good-hearted neighbour in “The Punisher” movie.

  • N!xau the star of “The Gods Must Be Crazy” has died. Police in remote Tsumkwe, in the Namibian part of the Kalahari where he lived, confirmed his recent death, but did not have any other details.

  • According to our man at Fox Studios, ‘Enrique’, there’s a few going’s on : “baz and dino were floating around on Friday looking at their Alexander the great project, Visual Effects are being sourced in Australia for "Man thing" – a marvel comics movie, It is looking like Red Dwarf movie may be shot in Sydney, did manage to look thru the window and see R2D2”.

  • Liam O’Neill, the son of Faye Dunaway, has signed to star in the indie feature "Last Goodbye" for writer-director Jacob Gentry, says The Hollywood Reporter. It follows the lives of a famous television star, a rock ‘n’ roll band and a deadbeat actor, all caught by fate on a hot Atlanta summer day.
