  • Dark Horizons says Studio Magazine reports that Mark Dacascos would play the title character in Christophe Gans’ “Rahan” which is set to be shot in Iceland and includes "prehistoric dialogue”.

  • George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Andy Garcia and Bernie Mac have all signed on for “Oceans Twelve” says Dark Horizons

  • New Pics from “Starship Troopers 2” can be found here

  • Variety says Dino De Laurentiis will produce a new adaptation of Giovanni Boccaccio’s 14th century classic, “The Decameron”, which will star mostly young English actors.

  • New Line Cinema has acquired the sci-fi action-comedy pitch “Planet Terry” by comic creator Rob Liefeld, says Variety. Other Liefeld feature projects include The Mark, with Will Smith attached to star, and Galaxy Girl — both set up at Paramount. He’s also responsible for “The Shrink” which Jennifer Lopez is set to star in.

  • Bloody Disgusting has posted “two bad-ass new images” from the upcoming “Freddy vs. Jason”.

  • Pixelsurgeon is running a competition to win exclusive concept artwork from the Buena Vista movie Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Details here

  • Just checked in to see whether the rumours are true about Neve Campbell being a part of “Cursed”. Unfortunately, they’re untrue – a movie source says she’s not involved.

  • Buddy Ebsen [The Beverly Hillbillies, Barnaby Jones] has passed away from undisclosed illnesses at Torrance Memorial Medical Center in California. He was 95.

  • A Remake of Blake Edward’s “Experiment in Terror”, is in the works says Edwards to Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith.

  • Holland Taylor has been tapped to star opposite Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer in the new CBS comedy "Two and a Half Men." Additionally, Taylor has joined the cast of Gold Circle Films’ romantic comedy "Something Borrowed," toplined by Debra Messing and Dermot Mulroney
