"Doctor Who" not Bulk Billing

One of the writers of the “Doctor Who” movie we mentioned a while back, Witold Tietze, dropped in to give us an update on the could-have-been movie. “Speaking as one of the writers of the project, I can inform you in no uncertain terms that the project has collapsed due to problems which developed in principal photography.” Tietze says he only ever supported a limited distribution of such a film, between family and friends. “After briefly considering a remount, producer/director Andrew Merkelbach decided to press on with an entirely new production, which I understand is currently in development. This is not a "doctor who" production, but is a largely original project originated by Merkelbach some time ago”.
