He's back, Blacker than a Burnt Snag

After the success of the first film, it looked highly feasible that Antonio Banderas would be donning the black garb for a “Mask of Zorror” sequel. Five years later, it still ain’t here. Dead in the water, ey? Maybe not. Banderas tells The Associated Press that they’re eyeing a February start for the sequel. Originally, the title was known as “Zorro Unmasked” – no idea if that still stands, or whether original co-stars Tony Hopkins or Catherine Zeta-Jones will be back. Martin Campbell directs. One thing’s for sure, Melanie Griffith’s definitely pencilled in to play the film’s form of transport – a gargantuan mid-air blimp.
