At least one director has ruled himself out of directing the forthcoming live-action adaptation of “The Transformers”. Michael Bay. According to IGN FilmForce, Bay’s plate is too busy, with the site hinting he might still be attached to do “Superman” instead. So who’s going to tackle Optimus Prime and company? According to the sites sources, Robert Zemeckis, and Joseph Kahn are still keen. In addition, the studio’s also made plans to talk to another big name director about the project.
