It’s a wonder no one thought of it sooner. But trust the man who was eyeing a revamped “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, Mr John Woo, to click on first. The action-maestro, is, according to TNMC, looking at bringing 80’s super-toon “Masters of the Universe” back to the big screen. For those that recall, the series made the transition to feature film in 1987, with Dolph Lundgren inopportunely cast as sword-yielding He-Man, and Frank Langella, throned, as Skeleter. There are fewer details than directions to Jimmy Hoffa’s grave on this one, but chances are Woo’s not going to placing a call to either of the original film’s two leads. Thanks to Dark Horizons.
