The “Batman” situation has been sending us webmasters bonkers the last few months. In fact, the inbox is usually so full of either ‘Batman’ or ‘Superman’ rumours; you’ve just got to shrug some of them off after a while. But at long last – and here’s hoping it’s a sign that it’s finally going to be more than an exasperating proclamation – Chris Nolan is reportedly auditioning actors this week for the Cape. Few surprises in there – in particular, Christian Bale. Now as far as I know, Warner’s doesn’t want to touch Bale. Namely because of his poor track record of late, so it’ll be interesting to see how that goes. But also, Pacey? Joshua Jackson as Batman? Remember folks we ain’t talking the ‘Year One’ project. Whatever the case, should be something cement by Christmas, since the film’s due to start filming in February. Meantime, we’ll try find out more on the auditions as the week progresses..
