Moviehole heard from a local Albury Wodonga, NSW, resident who tells us that Paul Hogan and Michael Caton were in Dean St, Albury this week filming scenes for their new comedy “Strange Bedfellows”. Director Dean Murphy was using one of the city’s local Disco’s for a scene apparently, something they don’t have access to in the nearby town of Yackandandah, where the rest of the movie is being filmed. “Everything was pretty much shut down”, says scooper ‘Herbs’. “Some Disco scene going on. It was pretty exciting. As someone said, something like this will probably never happen here again”. She adds, “There were a heap of extras – and they were bloody freezing out there”. Production in Yackandandah and Albury for the film wrapped this week and has now moved to Melbourne where it’ll shoot for a week at Zos Nightclub in Chapel Street.
