New horror film wants ex-Disney fave
Looks like Lindsay Lohan may be about to give her lungs a good workout (nah, not that kinda callisthenics) in ’07. She could be about to sign up for her second – the other being “I Know Who Killed Me” – horror pic in a year.
The actress has been approached about co-starring with screen veteran Margot Kidder (still the feistiest Lois Lane ever) in the fright-fest “The Ocean”, a new horror pic from filmmaker Dante Tomaselli.
According to Hollywood Grind, Lohan recently had a chat to the film’s producer Danny Lopes about the pic, set to roll early next year. If she signs on, she’d be playing the on-screen granddaughter of Kidder’s character.
Actor cum Producer Lopes recently told Icons of Fright that they hope to film the movie in Puerto Rico. “[It] is truly magical. We hope to be down there filming soon. I am one of the producers on the project and also have a small, significant role. I play Gus, a boy who drowns…my death sets the tempo for the rest of the film”.
Another young actor, Christopher Showerman, best known for his roles in “George of the Jungle 2” and “CSI Miami”, is said to have also had a chat with the filmmakers about “The Ocean”. (Like Lohan, that’ll be the second of two upcoming horror pics for Chrisso, too).
