The Doctor doing another game-turned-film

Bloody Disgusting reports that Director Uwe Boll (“Bloodrayne”) is in talks to take the video-game “Metal Gear Solid” to the silver-screen.

The good Dr. says “They wrote a script, and Konami basically paid these people to write it”.

He’s apparently keen to do it after seeing how well the film-take on “Doom” did last year, but he thinks he “could do it a lot better…its one of the top five of all time”.

The game tells of a black-ops troupe that are sent to a remote island off the coast of Alaska to shut-down a giant bipedal tank with a railgun capable of hitting targets anywhere in the world with a nuclear warhead.
