The film version of the popular Marvel comic
One of the keenest eyes in the business might be putting the moves on “Iron Man”.
According to IESB.net, Australian director Alex Proyas (“I Robot”, “The Crow”) might be helming the big-screen version of the popular Marvel comic.
Nick Cassavettes (“The Notebook”) was previously attached to the long-in-the-works film adaptation, which was set up at New Line until the rights reverted back to Marvel after two years in development hell. It’s likely it’ll now be made for Paramount.
Though IESB haven’t been able to get confirmation, several sources have told them that Proyas is under consideration for the job.
No word on who’ll be playing the man-in-iron, Tony Stark, but Tom Cruise has long expressed interest. Thing is, could they afford him?
