Arquette, Harris and oodles of debauchery

Congrats to my old pal Joe Harris who, along with David Arquette, have snagged a greenlight for their film “The Tripper”.

Joe and Arquette wrote the film together, and it’ll serve as the “Scream” actor’s directorial debut.

The film has already started shooting we’re told, with Jamie King, Thomas Jane, Jason Mewes, Lukas Haas, Paul Reubens and Balthazar Getty starring. Arquette and his wife Courteney Cox-Arquette will have cameo appearances in the film.

The film, shot in Santa Cruz, revolves around a group of friends who escape to a modern-day Woodstock concert for a weekend of debauchery, only to be stalked by a fanatical killer determined to finish what he started years earlier.

Joe was also attached to the next “Children of the Corn” film – but that’s now dead.
