Robert Rodriguez’s post-“Grindhouse” projects
The bad news (well, for my wife anyway, who has to loosen her collar every time Bruno’s in that soakin-wet blood-tainted Singlet) : Bruce Willis won’t be in “Sin City 2”.
The good news: He may be in the next instalment after that, a prequel to “Sin City”.
In an interview with IF magazine, Willis said that there’s been talks – presumably with director Robert Rodriguez – about “doing a prequel to the story that I was in. I think that’s something that’s going to be around for a while. I would love to keep working on that.”
Meantime, speaking of everything Rodriguez, the director’s next project – possibly before “Sin City 2” – might be his long-planned film transfer of the comic book “Madman”.
Though both Johnny Depp (who, I’m guessing, would still be in the mix) and Viggo Mortensen have always been rumoured to be the frontrunners for the role, the lead role is still yet to be cast….or announced, anyway.
