Witness twelve wannabes compete for the opportunity to become the next big celebrity stylist in STYLE ME WITH RACHEL HUNTER, premiering exclusively on the W. Channel on Sunday, July 2 at 8.00pm.
In this ten-part reality series, hosted by former supermodel Rachel Hunter, twelve eager contestants are let loose on the streets of fashion capital New York City to compete for the chance to style Ms. Hunter for a red carpet appearance at a major awards ceremony.
The winner judged most style-savvy will also receive $US10,000, a lucrative one-year contract with a top Hollywood agency and access to a celebrity ‘A’ list of potential clients.
Over the course of STYLE ME WITH RACHEL HUNTER, the contestants live together and compete in a series of over-the-top, high pressure fashion challenges.
From hauling a Rachel Hunter mannequin in a little black dress around Manhattan in a frantic search for accessories, to working with a group of firefighters to create a look for the NYC Fire Department’s 2006 calendar, the aspiring stylists are put through their paces to see if they have the fashion chops to style Hollywood’s hottest stars.
The contestant’s sense of style, creativity and ability to produce an entire look with budgetary and time constraints will decide who makes it to the final episode, and who will crack under pressure and be sent home packing, after hearing Hunter utter the dreaded words,
“You don’t measure up.”
The judges include Hunter and one of Hollywood’s top fashion stylists, Phillip Bloch, whose clients include John Travolta, Halle Berry and Salma Hayek.
The final episode of STYLE ME WITH RACHEL HUNTER will see two contestants compete in the ultimate challenge – to present Rachel Hunter with the perfect look for her big night on the red carpet.
Hunter will choose the winning ensemble and send the lucky contestant on the road to a career in the glamorous world of celebrity styling!
