Re-teaming with “Star Wars” co-star Samuel L.Jackson

Samuel L.Jackson told Moviehole today that though the film he was supposed to do with his “Star Wars” co-star Hayden Christensen, called “Poker Night, is “dead in the water”.

However, he might be re-teaming with Christensen for something else.

Jackson says Christensen might be joining him in Doug Liman’s “Jumper”, Based on the Steven Gould novel of the same name. It follows a kid from a broken home who discovers that he has the ability to teleport. In his quest for the man he believes is responsible for the death of his mother, the kid draws the attention of the National Security Agency and another youth with the same abilities. Jackson will play the NSA agent tracking the jumper, and may have ulterior motives for finding him

“Poker Night”, which was set to be directed by “Star Wars” master of swords Nick Gillard, was to star Christensen as a young rookie detective who becomes the pawn in a serial killer’s vicious game, with Jackson playing his boss.

Look out for my upcoming interview with Jackson for “Snakes on a Plane”- in which he also discusses the upcoming live-action “Afro Samurai” movie, and his thoughts on a “Snakes” sequel – in a few weeks.
