Movie News

Roger not returning for a follow up

Speaking with Shock Till You Drop about his duties on the upcoming “Beowulf” for Robert Zemeckis (Avary co-wrote the script with Neil Gaimam) – Roger Avary confirmed that since the original “Silent Hill” director, Christophe Gans is no longer on board the proposed “Silent Hill 2″ – neither is he.

The original, based on the multi-platinum selling video game, was released in 2006 to mixed reviews, ultimately pulling in somewhere in the vicinity of 47 million domestically (US), against it’s budget of over 50.
