Mc ‘Fuck Michael Bay and his Poster Dig’ G was present at the ”Terminator Salvation” Roadshow in New York today and among questions he was asked (I believe it was the one following “Is your sequel the equivalent of ass rape?”) : Will Linda Hamilton be returning as Sarah Connor for the new film? (as per that rather dubious rumour from a few months back).
Whilst er, G, didn’t face the question head-on, serving up anything but a direct response, he did hint that Ms Connor may indeed be involved in some form or fashion (and naturally, she’d be played by Hamilton).
Coming Soon had their microrecorder turned on.
Says the site, “He said they were still trying to figure out what to do, but one option they came up with was to have Sarah Connor do a voiceover to open the movie. We didn’t press him on this idea he tossed out, but we’re now wondering whether maybe he was going to try and convince Linda Hamilton, the original Sarah Connor, to come out of “Terminator” retirement to provide that voiceover or just find a soundalike. The former option certainly would be a nice surprise for longtime fans of the series if they could make it happen.”
As for whether the big buy (or as Jim Belushi’s “Red Heat” character nicknamed him, ‘Gumby’) will cameo in the film? “We’re working on it” revealed the filmmaker.
