Rising superstar Isla Fisher (And I remember when you were that hungry little lass on local soapie “Home & Away”- sweet girl though, met her at the “Wedding Crashers” junket and the AFI’s) has joined the cast of Gore Verbinski’s animated pic “Rango”.

Fisher, who next month will be seen in her first starring vehicle “Confessions of a Shopaholic” (which we’ll be attending the junket for in New York – so expect more goss about this one then), joins Johnny Depp for the pic, which centers on a household pet (Depp) who goes on an adventure to discover his true self.

Alfred Molina, Ray Winstone, Harry Dean Stanton and Ned Beatty round out the voice cast.
