Jeffrey Dean Morgan, out here promoting “Watchmen”, told me on the weekend that he’d just signed for another big Warner Bros. project. He wouldn’t say what. The ink was probably still drying. Either that or the producers had already offered the trades the scoop.

Whatever the Shizzle, no need to google ‘Warner Bros 2010 pre-production’ any longer – we have an answer!

Morgan has signed to star in another comic-book flick – this one, an adaptation of “The Losers” for Warner Bros. with Sylvain White directing, according to Variety.

The project, set up with Joel Silver’s crowd, is an adaptation of the DC-Vertigo comicbook about a band of black ops commandos who are set up to be killed by their own government. They barely survive and set out to get even.

I’m actually surprised Morgan’s doing something so similar in tone to “Watchmen” so soon – but no complaints. I think he’ll rock this.
