UPDATE! We were informed a week ago so by a reader named ‘Roger’ that whilst on his Oz tour Russell Brand told radio Emily Blunt will be his female co-star in the pic “Get Him to the Greek”. But that’s false, according to Entertainment Weekly
Thing is, Brand’s “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” co-star Jason Segel even told Aint it Cool News last week that Blunt is involved in Brand’s latest production :
”I’m writing songs for him and Emily Blunt, who’s playing a Fergie-type character. They start shooting in April”.
Hmmm….now why would HE say that? Seems odd.
Whatever the case, we’ve been told to say Blunt is not onboard and Brand didn’t say she was. I’m sure we’ll find another excuse to run a hot picture of Emily in the near future though.
While downunder (in more ways than one, by the sounds of it) last week, comedian Russell Brand told reporters a little about his forthcoming “Forgetting Sarah Marshall†spin-off, “Get him to the Greek†(I believe he did press somewhere between flashing his bits from a hotel balcony and seducing a Sydneysider in the space of five minutes).
The cheeky comedian told The Sydney Morning Herald that, “I play Aldous Snow again but Aldous Snow back on drugs. It’s a two-hander with Jonah Hill. Jonah’s character has to get Aldous from London to Los Angeles to perform a gig. Aldous is a crazed drug addict and a handful.”
