MGM Home Entertainment have announced the DVD release of the third “Legally Blonde” film – yes, the Reese Witherspoon-less one we mentioned a while ago.
Directed by ‘Savage’ Steve Holland (“One Crazy Summer”), the sequel, er, spin-off fixes on Elle’s young cousins who move from their native England to Southern California. And, we’re told “Their new classmates quickly learn to never judge a book by its hair color”.
Produced by original ”Legally Blonde” star Reese Witherspoon, the third film in the series stars twins Becky and Milly Rosso (“The Suite Life of Zack & Codyâ€) as Izzy and Annie Woods, sisters who have inherited the same confidence, charm, perfect hair and fabulous fashion senses as their cousin Elle Woods. As they start the new posh prep school, the girls quickly become the envy of every girl, the crush of every boy and the hit of the school. With their newfound popularity comes one bitter rival who will stop at nothing to bring Izzy and Annie down. Determined to prove their innocence and stand up for what is right, the girls won’t go down without a fight as they use their sharp wit and intelligence to stay true to themselves in the ultimate battle of blonde versus brunette.
