Very sad news to report today.

Actor Andy Hallett, best known as the kindly demon Lorne on TVs “Angel”, has died from heart failure at the age of 33.

The actor passed away at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles after a five-year battle with heart disease, with his father Dave Hallett by his side.

Hallett, also an accomplished musician, was absolutely brilliant on “Angel” – he gave us one of the most memorable, and likable characters from the Buffyverse in Lorne.

Hallett will be dearly missed.
