The chap who currently holds the keys to Gotham City is letting The Scarecrow back into his inner circle.

Cillian Murphy, who played the mug shrouded scoundrel Dr. Jonathan Crane (no, not John Travolta’s former manager) in both “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight” (albeit briefly), has been re recruited by director Christopher Nolan for another film.

Unlike Nolan’s superhero pics, the Leonardo DiCaprio-starring “Inception” will be pure science-fiction – but the story is being kept under wraps. I’m guessing they’ll want to see more of Murphy’s face this time around.

Ellen Page (“Juno”) and Marion Cotillard (“Public Enemies”) are also onboard the flick.
