Casting has begun on Robert Redford’s latest film, “Conspirator”.
The flick, written by John Solomon and set to lens in Savannah on October 12, will tell the story of Mary Surratt, the alleged conspirator of Abraham Lincoln assassin John Wilkes Booth.
Not surprisingly, Redford is casting the most ‘pivotal’ roles first – though they’re not necessarily the biggest (James McAvoy is said to be up for a lead).
Here’s the casting note that Clint received today :
This project is set in Washington, D.C., in 1865.
