As good as Ryan Reynolds is at packing heat, flexing his calves, and growing a beard, he’s still at his best – if you ask me – in a good laffer.
The one-time ‘’Two Girls, A Guy, and a Pizza Place’’ star will headline an Allen Loeb-penned comedy, described as a dude-in-drag romantic comedy, with Reynolds playing a jilted lover who must disguise himself as a woman and befriend his ex in order to win her back.
Working Title paid high six figures against seven figures for the untitled concept, says Variety.
Reynolds, who had a strong summer with “Wolverine†and “The Proposal,†next stars in the Martin Campbell-directed “Green Lantern†for Warner Bros. He also recently signed to star in “Motorcadeâ€, an action-thriller from ‘’24’’ director Jon Cassar. Loeb’s most recent script work is “Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps,†and the Jennifer Aniston-starrer “The Baster.â€
