Skywalker takes on Sully

Not content with letting a James Cameron film wear the biggest film of all time ribbon, “Star Wars”‘ George Lucas is reportedly in development on his own CGI fantasy film film of his own – and like “Avatar”, it’ll include a rather unhumanly race.

The untitled CGI animated film is in pre-production at Lucas’s Skywalker Ranch in San Francisco, says The Hollywood Reporter. Directing is Kevin Munroe, helmer of the recent computer-created “TMNT” movie; Lucas produces.

Though David Berenbaum’s script is being kept under tight wraps, it’s believed one element of it involves ‘fairies’. Oh, and did we mention it’s a musical!?

Hey… wait… didn’t “Willow” feature fairies?! Might be this be the long-awaited “Willow” sequel – albeit, in animated form?! with, er, Val Kilmer singing!? Yeah, I don’t think so either.
